Guimarães, Portugal

1 April - 6 April 2022     

This is my first ERASMUS+ project in Guimarães, Portugal.

Our whole adventure starts on Friday morning. We were very excited. I was flying for the first time and i can say it is beautiful. We arrived at the Porto around 10pm and stayed there until Saturday afternoon. On Saturday morning we set out on a tour of the Porto. I liked the city immensely for its various attractions and talented musicians.  In the afternoon we headed to Pena Aventura Park where we stayed from Saturday to Sunday afternoon . When we arrived they divided us into teams and we started with various activities. We went to the Percurso Aventura, that is, we crossed various obstacles. After that we went to Crazy Cart which was really interesting . On  Saturday night we had a small party where we got to know each other even better and found new friends from different countries.  On Sunday, various activities started, but unfortunately the last one in that amusement park. we had the opportunity to try the Alpine Coaster, zipline and bungy jumping. In the afternoon we went to Guimarães .we settled in a hotel and later we went to see Guimarães . On Monday morning we went to school. There they took us through it and we learned something about their school and we learned a few words in Portuguese . And we went to dinner and after that we had free time to hang out . On Tuesday or for us the last day unfortunately. We had a presentation that went great. They later took us to see green areas and various attractions in their city. In the evening we had a gala dinner or farewell dinner. The evening went wonderfully. We danced, sang and laughed. Unfortunately, like all this journey, it has come to an end.  But as always I learned something and met new friends from different countries of the world. I am very glad to have been a part of this project. Just as I found friends from different countries, so I became friends with my Croatian team, with whom I was never bored. Thank you for this opportunity.

April 1, 2022 - FRIDAY

We met up at 9 o'clock at our school parking lot. We put all of our things in van, and then our journey began. We arrived at airport in Zagreb and we were all excited for flight because it was our first. We reached Lisbon at around 1pm. Our second flight was from Lisbon to Porto where we spent the night.

April 2, 2022 - SATURDAY

We had breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards we went on a tour of Porto. We saw Igreja dos Clérigos, Igreja de Santo Ildefonso, Porto Cathedral and we walked by Douro River. After we packed our things, we went into the bus and firstly drove to Guimarães to pick up our Portuguese friends and then continued to Pena Aventura park. We went on Adventure route and Crazy cart. After dinner we had disco party where we were talking and dancing together.

 

April 3, 2022 - SUNDAY

We ate breakfast and then we went to zipline Fantasticable, Alpine Coaster and bungee jumping. We had so much fun. All those activities were interesting. We had lunch and thereupon we packed things and left Pena Aventura park. We arrived at Guimarães. We found our rooms in hotel. We went on a little tour around town. We had dinner at 7:30.

April 4, 2022 - MONDAY

We had breakfast and we arrived at Escola Secundária Francisco de Holanda. We had tour of school. We saw in what surroundings do our friends study. We had lunch at 13:15.  At 2pm we looked at green spots in Guimarães. We had free time from 16:30 till 20:00 when we had group dinner.

April 5, 2022 - TUESDAY

That day we did our presentations. At 10:30 we planted a tree. Afterwards we had group lunch at school canteen. At half past 2 we had activity  with organic bags painting. We had farewell dinner.

April 6, 2022 - WEDNESDAY

We left hotel at 2am and drove to Porto where we waited for flight to Lisbon. We were really sleepy. We waited for flight to Zagreb for 2 hours. We arrived in Zagreb at around half past 12. We got in Daruvar at 3pm with many beautiful memories and new experiences.
