Tenerife, Spain 3 - 9 February 2022 When I first heard the news that I was going to Tenerife with my school, I was over the moon, even though I got the news last year that I was going, in my head February was so far away, but it came way faster than I could ever imagine. When the day came, I woke up early and got ready for a day full of travelling. When we took off, the excitement was unreal. After 40-50 minutes, we landed in Bergamo, Italy. Even from the airplane window, the city was beautiful. When we landed, we decided to take a bus to Milano. We had time to spare so why not. We came home and got to bed. We woke up at 3 am, packed our stuff, went to the airport and took off to Tenerife. When we landed I instantly started sweating. The temperature was 27°C and we were in winter clothes. As we were driving to the hotel, I was mesmerized by the architecture and the number of palm trees. As the days passed, I was falling more and more in love with the island. I met a lot of new people,

Guimarães, Portugal

1 April - 6 April 2022       This is my first ERASMUS+ project in Guimar ães, Portugal. Our whole adventure starts on Friday morning. We were very excited. I was flying for the first time and i can say it is beautiful. We arrived at the Porto around 10pm and stayed there until Saturday afternoon. On Saturday morning we set out on a tour of the Porto. I liked the city immensely for its various attractions and talented musicians.  In the afternoon we headed to Pena Aventura Park where we stayed from Saturday to Sunday afternoon . When we arrived they divided us into teams and we started with various activities. We went to the Percurso Aventura, that is, we crossed various obstacles. After that we went to Crazy Cart which was really interesting . On  Saturday night we had a small party where we got to know each other even better and found new friends from different countries.  On Sunday, various activities started, but unfortunately the last one in that amusement park. we had the opport

Kuressaare, Estonia

Kuressaare, Estonia 17 November - 21 November 2021 Our trip to Estonia was wonderful, we had so much fun. On the first day, we arrived in Tallinn and spent the night at a hotel. The next day we had a flight in the early morning to Kuressaare. We arrived at the school, went on a school tour and had icebreaker activities. After that we had presentations and, in the evening, we had a traditional dinner. On day three we had debates, and, in the afternoon, we went to Saaremaa Museum where we had a treasure hunt. The day after that we went on a cultural trip around Saaremaa. We saw a meteor crater called Kaali and got blown by the wind at Panga cliff. Angla windmills and cultural heritage centre was our next stop, and we had a look around some of the first windmills in Estonia. Our last day in Estonia was spent in Tallinn. We went to the Estonian Parliament – Riigikogu and went on a tour around Tallinn. We had lunch at an Irish pub and went to our hotel. Great memories and friends were made

YES Istanbul Experiences

Istanbul, Turkey 12 - 15 February 2020. The project was held from 12 to 15 February in Istanbul. One girl, Beren, hosted me. The first day we traveled, the second day we were in school and had workshops and presentations, all Saturday and Sunday we spent sightseeing the city, we were in Aja Sophia, Topkapi palace, The blue mosque, we had a boat ride across the Bospor. Istanbul is beautiful and we have made nice friendships with everybody in the project. On Monday we were at school   and the last day   we were traveling home. Martina Stari 3.H I went on a trip to Turkey with Erasmus+ project and it was amazing! It is one of my best trips, I traveled a lot with my family and with school but Istanbul will always be in my memory. When we came we went to the shopping mall and a restaurant. YES Croatian Experience

From November 12 th   till November 15 th  our Croatian students from Ekonomska i turistička school Daruvar hosted students from Italy, Turkey, Portugal, Spain and Estonia with the Erasmus+ project Yellow European Stars. First two days the students were in Rovinj, Pula, Opatija and Rijeka. The day after that, we went to Daruvar. In Daruvar they stayed with their host students and families. In the school the students had various workshops and got to spend some time getting to know Daruvar and the other students from the other countries. We finished our journey with a farewell dinner and a presentation of traditional Roman feast. We asked our students about their thoughts about this experience and here are the answers.
